About Me

Hello, Thank you for stopping by my blog.  I am Mario and I started Kariz Productions back in the late 90's.  A lil story about a boy who worked the potato warehouses and fields in center, blanca and around the San Luis Valley at a very early age.  I was always taught that hard work and dedication will pay off.  I remember working all summer in the fields cutting spinach to save up for my very first camera...trying to figure out how to load a roll of film was diffenitly one of the memories I will never forget.  Since then I fell in love with photography and recording videos for the church.

While doing photography on the side I was in retail for 13 years.  Then there was a turning point in my life where I questioned my self what about my dreams, my goals and now my family?  So that's when I really started to invest in my equipment and shortly after I opened my own portrait studio here in Alamosa Co.

I don't claim to have a degree in portraiture or business but I have a heart and passion about what I love to do (photography). and will do everything I can to make your memories last a life time.

My Goal: Is to provide you with great outstanding photographs that will preserve your memories and laughters a life time.  Top quality prints and HD Videos for your event, so some day you and your family members will smile and remember those unforgetable moments.
